The DRYICE1.5K Beamline LEMON is a top loading beamline cryostat with continuous operation possible at <1.5K. Options are available with 30,50,70 and 100mm sample space. It is also designed to take a large experimental heat-load and provide the fastest available sample exchange time at <20 minutes to cool a sample down to <2.0K.
The tail set can be customised to minimise the amount of material in the beam-line and suit various beam-line configurations. The systems have been installed at many beam-line facilities around the world including; NIST, JPARC, SAFARI, Los Alamos, RAL (ISIS) and NRC (Canada).

TheDRYICE1.5K OPTI MAGNETO Cryostat gives users optical access to their sample both parallel and perpendicular to the magnetic field at temperatures below 1.5K and up to 800K.
With a split pair magnet and 4 optical access points (including 2 re-entrant bores), the system can be used for Magneto Circular Dichroism, Raman Spectroscopy, Faraday Effect Measurement, Photoluminescence and Optical Characterisation of nano-devices.
The Variable Temperature Insert (VTI) forms an integral part of this cryostat with access for a top loading probe and may be wired with a sensor of your choice. The top loading probe option allows access to the sample space without the need to warm up the cryostat leading to fast sample change times.

TheDRYICEDYADis a closed cycle system capable of cooling to 1.7K whilst providing excellent optical access and ultra-low vibration. The sample unit is held separately from the cold head and the main body of the cryostat on an optical table. The two are connected only by a soft thermal link to reduce vibration to a minimum.
The sample space environment can be switched between a top loading exchange gas module and a vacuum module within a couple of hours, making it a flexible solution for multiple applications in busy labs.
Customisation of the wiring and the addition of magnetic fields, nanopositioners and low temperature objectives are available.

TheDry ICE 300mK series is a range of closed cycle cryostats that work at He3 temperature both continuously and in single shot mode.
These systems are designed to deliver high cooling powers between 300mK and 400mK. The single shot systems offer extended hold times and rapid condense times to ensure as little as possible is spent away from experiments.

The carbon fibre sample rod allows fast cooling of samples in exchange gas. The top loading probe operates in the temperature range of 1.5K to 800K and is fitted with radiation baffles to minimise the conductive and radiated heat loads to the sample region.
The probe attaches viage a flange and hangs down inside the sample space of the insert. It is terminated in a copper mount which can be customised to secure our range of sample holders. The housing can be tailored to meet your needs.

The ICECP 300mK Cold Proble is a compact and fast turnaround insert with 20, 32, 50, 56, 70 or 100mm outer diameter. It is available either for top loading into the variable temperature insert or for continuous flow systems (size permitting). The probe utilises the insert's capability of reaching 1.5K in order to condense the self-contained Helium 3 charge (Patented condensing method).

The ICECP25mK Cold Probe is a dilution insert aimed at achieving fast sample turnaround times at millikelvin temperatures.
THE ICE CP 25mK is compatible with both top loading systems into a VTI or continuous flow systems. When paired with an ICE cryostat, the probe can utilise dual-cool technology for an automated cooldown, requiring minimum input from the user during probe changes.

The WETICE1.5K MAGNETO integrated system is a liquid Helium based magnet and VTI combination designed to give excellent experimental access and ultra-low vibration for general research and SPM applications at <1.5K.
Liquid Helium evaporation is minimised by reducing the heat loads due to conduction and convection. This is achieved by use of the vacuum space isolation, the fitting of multi-layer super insulation shields and the employment of an FRP Helium can neckd
The liquid Helium bath is designed with a “belly” reservoir which sits above a narrower tail. This results in the amount of “non-usable” liquid helium, sometimes referred to as a “dead volume”, being significantly reduced, thereby avoiding unnecessary wastage. The tail can be made to suit the clear neck size of the cryostat or even smaller, such as to fit around an insert tail, experimental stage or a superconducting magnet.
It can easily be upgraded with He3 or dilution inserts for lower base temperatures.

TheDICEUHVis a top loading dilution refrigerator with a ultra high vacuum central tube, suitable for SPM experiments.
The uniquely designed insert and dilution unit incorporate a ‘D' shaped 1K pot, still and mixing chamber base for increased sample access. The large clear areas available for experimental access are ideally suited for installing an extensive range of electrical wiring options, fibre optics and other cryogenic devices.
The cryostat is designed to hold a sufficient volume of cryogens to allow for a convenient period of experimental operation between refills. It is constructed from non-magnetic materials with all vacuum seals tested for leak tightness on a mass spectrometer to better than 1 x 10-9mbarL/sec.
